Termite Control Companies in Texas

These pest control companies in Texas treat termites. Subterranean termites are found throughout Texas, and drywood termites turn up more often in coastal areas such as Houston and Corpus Christi. The invasive Formosan subterranean termite is concentrated on the upper Gulf Coast and has been reported in every major Texas metro area. Swarms usually come in spring and early summer, as early as January or February in South Texas and not until April or May in the Panhandle.

Texas sets out the paperwork for termite work. Only a person licensed in the termite category may prepare a written estimate, and every written estimate comes with disclosure documents before treatment, including a diagram of the areas to be treated, the pesticide label and full warranty details. Yearly retreatment for subterranean termites is not allowed without clear evidence of reinfestation or a disrupted barrier. Ask each company for its termite license and what could void its warranty.
