Wildlife Removal Companies in Texas

These pest control companies in Texas remove wildlife and nuisance animals. Raccoons, skunks, opossums, foxes and several other animals are fur-bearers under Texas law, and a landowner or agent may take one that is causing damage on the owner's land. Texas also has a statewide rabies quarantine that makes it illegal to move live foxes, skunks, coyotes and raccoons, with exemptions that include licensed pest management professionals. An exempt person releasing one of these animals must do so within ten miles of where it was caught and in the same county.

Bats need care of their own. Texas has 33 bat species, some protected by state law, and AgriLife advises contacting Texas Parks and Wildlife before any bat control. Evicting bats in maternity season, usually spring to late summer, kills the young left behind. The Texas Department of State Health Services says not to handle any wildlife, healthy or sick. Ask a company how it removes animals, where it releases them, and how it seals the openings they used.
