About Pest Control Texas: pest control companies across Texas

Published by John Marshall

John Marshall is the publisher of Pest Control Texas, an independent directory of pest control companies across Texas. He started the directory to give Texas homeowners and property managers one place to compare local pest control companies city by city, using public review data and a published method instead of paid rankings. Basic listings are free, and every featured placement is clearly labeled. Business owners can claim or correct their listing through the site, and readers can reach John at info@pestcontroltexas.net with corrections or questions.

Why this directory exists

I started Pest Control Texas to give Texas homeowners and property managers one place to compare local pest control companies, city by city. Each city page shows the companies that serve the town, their Google ratings, phone numbers and services in one place.

The order on each city page comes from public review data and a published method, not from who paid. A basic listing is free and stays free. Featured placements are paid, and every one of them is labeled wherever it appears.

I do not verify licenses, and every listing says so. Texas makes its pest control license records public through the Texas Department of Agriculture, and I would rather point you to that source than vouch for any company myself. If something here is wrong, write to me at info@pestcontroltexas.net and I will fix it at the next rebuild.

How listings are vetted

Every company here started as a public Google business record for a Texas pest control, animal control, bee relocation or bird control service. We kept businesses that are open and have at least one Google review, merged duplicates, and removed animal shelters, rescue groups and other records with no pest control category. Then we read each company's own website, when it could be read, and marked the services it names. When a site says nothing about a service, the listing shows "not enough info", never a guess.

We do not verify licenses, insurance or the quality of any work. When a listing says a company states a pest control license, that is what its own website says. Check the license with the Texas Department of Agriculture before you hire. Ratings and review counts come from Google, and paying for a featured spot does not change them.

Right now that is 2,169 pest control companies in 183 Texas cities, last refreshed 2026-11-06.

Owners can claim their listing for free. Every claim is checked by a person: a real local business, a matching email domain or a call to the number on the Google listing. Paid placements are marked as featured, premium or best-of wherever they appear.
