Rowlett Animal Services Building

Rowlett Animal Services Building is the city's animal services office and shelter, not a pest control company. It handles lost and found pets, pet registration, animal bites, impoundment, nuisance complaints and other animal complaints, and it runs volunteer programs, low cost pet care resources and guidance on surrendering pets. Residents can look at adoptable pets and the Friends of Rescue Animals program. Wildlife information and humane traps are listed, along with notes that raccoons, opossums, coyotes, squirrels and snakes live around the lake and advice on avoiding contact with wild animals and on rabies. Shelter hours and patrol hours are posted separately, and a lost and found pet form is available for residents. Rated 4.3 from 203 Google reviews, 137 of them five stars and 18 one star.
