Brownsville Animal Regulation and Care Center

The Brownsville Animal Regulation and Care Center is the city of Brownsville's animal shelter, not a pest control company. It cares for homeless animals, adopts out cats and dogs, handles animal control for public safety, and posts a fee schedule with a discounted adoption rate for those who qualify. Other pages cover microchipping, lost pets, pet safety during hurricane season, a community cat program, a dog park, rabies clinic schedules and volunteering. It also hosts a yearly fundraising gala called Toast to Tails. The directory places it in Olmito, while the shelter itself is in Brownsville, so confirm the location before visiting. The phone number is 956-544-7351. Rated 4.1 from 377 Google reviews, 242 of them five stars and 53 one star.
