Mt Pleasant Animal Control

Mount Pleasant Animal Control is the city's animal services and shelter operation, run as a municipal office rather than a pest control company. Its work covers stray animal rescue, animal bite investigations, injured animal rescue, deceased animal pickup, wildlife transfer, animal cruelty investigations, nuisance investigations and public education programs. Residents can also look into adopting a pet, reporting a lost pet, microchipping, volunteering and donating to the shelter wish list. Hours are posted, and the entrance and parking are wheelchair accessible. Rated 3.9 from 45 Google reviews, 31 of them five stars and 11 one star. It handles animals rather than treating homes for insects or termites, so a homeowner with an infestation will need a licensed pest control company.
